Original Pre-War Pastilles Valda Tin (German)

This is a Pastilles Valda tin with German writing.  Pastilles Valda are mentioned in Poilu by Louis Barthas.  This is a neat breadbag / haversack stuffer.  Pastilles Valda are a gummy menthol/eucalyptus sore throat lozenge.  Tin comes filled with modern Pastilles Valda, still manufactured by the same company as during wartime.
